6/12/1951 – Born on this day, Brad Delp, guitarist and singer with Boston. In 1969, guitarist Barry Goudreau introduced Delp to Tom Scholz. Eventually, Scholz formed the short-lived band Mother’s Milk, including Delp and Goudreau and Epic Records eventually signed the act. They were renamed Boston, and the self-titled debut album was released in August 1976. Brad died on March 9th, 2007, his death ruled a suicide.
