12/25/1945 – Born on this day, Noel Redding, bassist with The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Redding was the first person to join the Jimi Hendrix Experience, and the first to leave, his final concert with them was in June 1969. Redding died on May 11th, 2003 at the age of 57.
