4/13/1951: Born on this day, drummer and television personality Max Weinberg of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. Weinberg won an audition to become the drummer for Springsteen in 1974. He played on the 1975 single Born To Run. He was also the leader of the Max Weinberg Seven on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and also the author of 1991 The Big Beat: Conversations with Rock’s Greatest Drummers.
