5/5/1984: Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr married Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde in a horse drawn carriage in Central Park, New York City. Hynde had a daughter, Natalie, in 1983 with Ray Davies of The Kinks. She had another daughter with Kerr in 1985. They divorced in 1990, Hynde then married artist Lucho Brieva in 1997. They separated in 2002.
