Teen star Austin Mahone has failed his driving test twice in one day.

The 17-year-old What About Love singer, who picked up MTV’s Artist to Watch prize at the Video Music Awards last month, went public about his test on Wednesday morning, tweeting, “Taking my drivers test today!! wish me luck.”

But his good fortune ran out on the road and he later added, “I failed… She (instructor) told me to stop singing in the car.”

Mahone was then given a rare second chance and an hour later, he wrote, “I got to take it again!”

However, his second try wasn’t any better: “Failed again. I’m so mad.”
