Animation: A Tribute to RUSH/Substitute: Tales from The Who

Tuesday, November 11th, 2014 - 8:00 pm at Shank Hall
1434 N. Farwell Ave.

Animation has been headlining as “A Tribute to RUSH” since the first show in March, 1987. EVERY show is ALL RUSH music.  On average, you’ll see about 26 songs per show. About 10 of those will be in (almost) every show. We carefully rotate the remaining songs to plan a new and different set-list for each show. They include one EPIC tune (or album side/ medley), per show, in the first set.

Substitute has a look and sound that captures The Who at the height of their ’70s peak, Substitute plays the songs that have become part of rock legend. From the hits (Pinball Wizard, Who Are You and Won’t Get Fooled Again) to lesser-known classics (The Seeker, Bargain and The Real Me), Substitute is becoming a regular at some of the Midwest’s most prestigious venues and festivals!
