Rosanne Cash To Write Memoir
|
Johnny Cash's singer/songwriter daughter Rosanne is to lift the lid on life with her famous father in a new autobiography.
The Man in Black split from Rosanne's mother, his first wife Vivian Liberto, in the early 1960s and they divorced in 1966 when she was 11 years old.
After leaving school Rosanne joined her father's road show as a wardrobe assistant, and later as a background vocalist before launching her own music career in the 1970s.
She will document her early life and her own rise to fame in her memoir, Composed, which is due for release in August.
A statement from the publishers reveals Cash "writes candidly about her upbringing, her development as an artist and her current life."
Composed hits store on August 10.
